On the mission to achieve the transition to electric mobility, policy makers, industry players along the whole mobility value chain, energy providers and customers need to work together to change the way we think about mobility and how we integrate electric vehicles (EV) with the electricity grid infrastructure. We are aware of the challenges but what opportunities are out there as well? Long term, EVs only make sense in a world where 100% of electricity comes from renewables. As renewables are difficult to predict and volatile, we need storage and smart grids, in which both EVs can play a crucial role. Whenever we put digitalisation in the center of a problem, the agility and creativity of startups is a great asset and the concept of Open Innovation as well as platforms like STARTUP AUTOBAHN powered by Plug and Play can play a crucial role in achieving and accelerating the shift towards a digitalised electricity grid and fully integrated EV vehicles and fleets. In this panel discussion we want to bring all stakeholders together to talk about solutions and how we can transition to e-mobility even faster.
