To ensure road safety, total sensor visibility is crucial. Sensor visibility is required to ensure operability for the system, to ensure sensors work in alignment and to generate data that can be trusted. Harsh environmental conditions are affecting vision sensor functionality. Obstructions refer to dust, rain, snow, fog, mud, ice and more.
